With Kraftful Surveys, you can collect new data without the hassle of building a survey or writing survey questions. With one click, you get a complete survey that you can share with users as is or customize further in our survey builder.

You can create a survey based on past user feedback, a new topic, an NPS survey, or manually in our survey builder.

If you have existing survey data in a CSV file or want to connect a survey provider to analyze the data in Kraftful, check out the instructions on how to connect sources to Kraftful.

AI-generate a survey based on past user feedback

  1. Click ‘Create new’ in the top right corner of the Survey page.
  2. Select ‘Generate a survey with AI.’
  3. Pick the language you want to use for the survey questions. You will get the summaries translated to the language set in your account.
  4. Select a source under ‘Or, create a survey automatically using past feedback’ and click ‘Generate.’
  5. Once the survey is generated, you will be able to edit, delete, reorder, or add new questions to the survey before sharing it with your users.

AI-generate a survey based on a new topic

  1. Click ‘Create new’ in the top right corner of the Survey page.
  2. Select ‘Generate a survey with AI.’
  3. Pick the language you want to use for the survey questions. You will get the summaries translated to the language set in your account.
  4. Write the topic you want to survey your users about. You can describe a new product, a pain point you’re interested in learning more about, or enter your or your competitor’s brand (if the brand is well-known). You can also optionally select a source of past feedback to generate more specific questions that dive deeper into the topic based on what you already know from users.
  5. Once the survey is generated, you will be able to edit, delete, reorder, or add new questions to the survey before sharing it with your users.

Create an NPS or other survey manually

  1. Click ‘Create new’ in the top right corner of the Survey page.
  2. Select ‘Manually create a survey.’
  3. Select ‘NPS survey’ or ‘Manual survey.’
  4. Click ‘Add question’ at the bottom of the page to add the questions you want to ask.

Customize surveys

Whether you create your survey with AI or manually, you can edit and customize it before sharing it with your users:

  1. Change the heading and subheading by clicking on them and typing your desired copy.
  2. Add a logo by entering the URL where your logo is hosted.
  3. Change the background to better match your logo by clicking the three-dot menu at the top and toggling ‘Dark mode.’
  4. Edit a question by clicking on it.
  5. Edit the question format by clicking the settings icon next to the question.
  6. Reorder questions by dragging the six-dot icon on the left side of each question.
  7. Add new questions by clicking ‘Add question’ at the bottom of the page.
  8. Delete questions by clicking the trashcan icon next to a question.
  9. Select whether a question should be required or optional in the settings for each question.
  1. Once you’re happy with your survey, click ‘Save.’
  2. Customize the link you will share with users by typing some copy (e.g., your brand or survey topic) under ‘Custom URL slug.’
  3. Decide whether you want to collect users’ names or email addresses and whether you’d like to include an optional personalized interview at the end of the survey.
  4. Click the ‘Copy link’ button to get a link that you can share with your users.

View survey responses and analysis

You will receive an email from Kraftful once users start responding to your survey.

You can access the survey responses and analysis by clicking on the survey on the ‘Surveys’ page or selecting it from your sources on the ‘Feedback’ page.

Kraftful will show you both the raw responses and Kraftful summaries.

Responses to multiple-choice or other non-free-form text questions will also be aggregated numerically.
